The insulation test must be performed following the manufacturer's instructions and isolating sensitive electronic equipment. A single value such as "Earth resistance less than a specified number" for all types of systems is not a substitute for checking the protection method and disconnection conditions.

6–3. Three tips to avoid misconceptions

1. IP68 does not mean unlimited protection. Manufacturer's declared immersion conditions, depth, connections and installation method should be checked; This sign alone is not a proof of electrical safety of the complex. IP classification standard [445]

2. RCD is not a substitute for other protections. Its type, sensitivity, operation time and coordination with the load should be determined in the design.

3. Low voltage alone does not cause SELV. Protective isolation, power supply, wiring and connections to other circuits are also important.

Final decision: approval □ approval after modification □ disallowing electrification of the specified section □
